Singapore Airlines Adds PayPal As A Payment Option

Customers of Singapore Airlines Ltd. now may pay for their flights using their PayPal Inc. accounts, according to the Singapore-based airline.

Under an agreement between the airline and U.S.-based, PayPal users in Singapore may draw from the balance in their PayPal account to pay for their bookings on Singaporeair.com, or they may pay using the bank account, credit card or debit card linked to their PayPal account, according to an airline representative.

To promote the service, Singapore Airlines is offering travelers who pay for their flights through PayPal the chance to win back the price of their flight, up to SG$2,000 (US$1,575 or 1,136 euros).

The airline will select one winner daily from March 7 to April 6, the official adds. The service will be available to customers in 17 countries in which Singapore Airlines operates.
