The e-commerce provider Spindle has partnered with the payment processor TekTango to provide point of sale hardware with bundled payment processing services.
The platform includes Near Field Communication technology for contactless payments at retail and mobile check out. It also accepts a range of payment types, including EMV, ACH, Apple Pay and gift cards, the companies said.
Additionally, the platform can be branded by merchants to support their marketing strategies.
"The POS bundle from Spindle and TekTango allows merchants to cost-effectively accept new payment types, such as EMV and Apple Pay, and expand our offering to providers at a competitive cost structure," said Bill Clark, Spindle's chief executive, in the Dec. 15 release.
Spindle is based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and TekTango is based in Tampa, Fla.
