Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union is replacing 94 of its ATMs with advanced-automation Diebold Opteva machines that feature rapid-processing technology and Agilis 3, Diebold's newest, multivendor software, the credit union announced Nov. 8.
The $5 billion credit union also replaced 104 of its cash dispensers with Diebold machines featuring advanced anti-skimming detection technology.
"Suncoast has been aggressive in adopting new technologies that benefit our members," Wanda Chambers, vice president of document services at the Tampa, Fla.-based credit union, Florida’s largest. Said in a press release.
Running Agilis 3 software, the new Opteva ATMs give members more control over through an intuitive interface that displays deposit information for verification, enable check-image scrolling instead of single views and print-deposit details on receipts. In addition, through the deployment of rapid-processing technology, the new ATMs process transactions faster, clear routine jams more easily to maximize ATM uptime and accept more checks at one time.
Rapid-processing technology shortens the total transaction time for a cash and check deposit by performing tasks in parallel. Diebold's deposit-automation technology accepts deposits of up to 30 bank notes and 10 checks in less than 60 seconds.
