TD Retail Card Services will issue and administer a new private-label credit card for Elkhart, Ind.-based Forest River Inc., a manufacturer of recreational vehicles and cargo trailers.
Under the deal announced on Tuesday, the Mahwah, N.J.-based business unit of TD Bank N.A. will direct the program for the independent dealers that sell Forest River's vehicles, including trailers, campers, and toy haulers. The credit card will allow customers to finance their equipment purchases with different financing options, including deferred interest and equal payment programs.
It is the latest private-label card TD has agreed to issue for a specialty retailer. The bank has recently signed similar deals with home furnishings and mattress purchasing cooperative Furniture First and retail jeweler Bailey Banks & Biddle.
Last month, bank parent Toronto-Dominion agreed to buy Bank of America Corp.'s Canadian credit cards business.
