Total System Services Inc., a United States-based transaction processor also known as TSYS, said Tuesday it has signed a deal to service private-label store cards for two retail brands held by United Kingdom-based Home Retail Group PLC. The deal applies to cards from Argos, a general retailer, and Homebase, which sells home-improvement goods. In total, the two stores have more than 1 million cardholder accounts, TSYS says. The deal is a "multi-year agreement," TSYS says without releasing other details. Home Retail Group "is our first retail storecard processing client in Europe," a TSYS spokesperson tells CardLine Global.
