The payments processor will use FICO Falcon Fraud Manager version 6.3 to shield payments, resolve suspicious activity and comply with payment security standards.

"As the company charged with managing several of Brazil's most popular cards, we give customer protection the highest priority," said AJ Bueno, head of sales for TSYS Brazil, in an Oct. 2 press release.

TSYS also recently partnered with FICO to offer FICO Falcon Fraud Manager 6 as a hosted service for global clients. The FICO/TSYS technology examines behavioral aspects of cardholder activity, using analytics to spot potential fraud.

Heartland Payment Systems, another large processor, recently deployed fraud prevention technology from Alaric to combat an expanding industrywide fraud threat.
