Vantiv Integrated Payments has launched triPOS Cloud, which allows independent software vendors to manage payments hardware from the cloud.
The new offering, an extension of the triPOS product line, presents an opportunity for developers to single source innovation and payment acquiring as the introduction of EMV and new PCI guidelines have made integrations more complex, Matt Downs, head of channel and business development at Vantiv Integrated Payments, said in a Jan. 12 news release.
"Cloud-based payments applications are growing rapidly. Whether it's an add-on application to solve for omnichannel or a standalone solution, we have a large demand from current and prospective developers to solve this important need," Downs said.
ISVs can begin integrating to triPOS Cloud and merchants can use it for payment processing for already integrated business applications. TriPOS Cloud provides software updates and a plug-and-play process for merchant to install.
Integrated Payments is the Vantiv group that provides technology and processing services for small and medium-sized businesses.
