VeriFone Buys Italian Firm

VeriFone Systems Inc. says today it has bought a majority stake in All Business Solutions, an Italy-based payment integrator and software developer, from the company’s founders and ACI Informatica, which will keep a minority ownership.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

All Business Solutions operates ABScard, an online payment gateway and loyalty processing system that processes transactions from mobile phones, unattended kiosks, Web browser and from point-of-sale devices, VeriFone says.
