VeriFone Systems Inc. is supplying a Turkish gasoline retailer with unattended pay-at-the-pump payment terminals, VeriFone announced May 18.

The San Jose, Calif.-based terminal maker will provide the terminals to Petline Petroleum Inc., according to a news release, which did not say how many devices it ordered or how much it is paying.

“Petline’s decision to deploy automated payment systems at self-service fuel dispensers represents VeriFone’s continued efforts to bring new card-payment capabilities to unexploited market segments,” Soner Caur, VeriFone vice president and general manager of South East Europe, said in the release.

Separately, VeriFone announced this week that its Paymedia service will work with its Secure PumpPay system to provide advertising and new payment options for gas stations (see story).
