Verizon Wireless is working with two mobile payment companies to allow its customers to charge digital content purchases to phone bills.
Danal Inc. of San Jose, Calif., will provide its BilltoMobile its platform for billing, and Boku Inc. of San Francisco will provide its payment processing services to the wireless carrier.
"Boku and BilltoMobile merchants benefit from attractive merchant fees that are significantly lower than traditional" rates, the companies said in a press release Thursday.
In November both companies reached a similar deal with AT&T Inc.
