Virtual Piggy to Use Kount to Battle Fraud

Virtual Piggy will deploy Kount's fraud management technology to provide payments security.

Kount's technology analyzes hundreds of transaction and customer variables to spot potential fraud. Kount also uses MasterCard fraud scores to inform its analysis.

Virtual Piggy's online payment system allows young people to make purchases within parameters set by their parents. The company has expanded into a number of new verticals by partnering with electronic commerce companies and merchants, including Demandware's merchant network.

Virtual Piggy has also partnered with video game developers and educational software makers.
