Well Fargo & Co. on Friday launched a new personal-design service for its credit and debit cardholders. The Wells Fargo Card Design Studio enables consumer and business cardholders to personalize cards with their own digital images or with images from an online library, Jesse Lee, Wells Fargo product manager, tells CardLine. The service is free. Wells customers have requested a personalization service for a long time, according to Lee. "We felt this is a great opportunity to reach out to them and create greater loyalty," he says. Besides images, business cardholders may add text to their cards, enabling them to add company taglines, Lee adds. Cardholders must be enrolled in Wells' consumer or business online-banking service to use the design studio. London-based Serverside Group powers Wells' card-personalization service, Lee says.
