The suit names Fast Auto Loans Inc., its owner, Community Loans of America Inc., and Robert I. Reich, president and CEO of both firms.

McGraw's office says the Virgina-based company has refused to comply with a subpoena to determine the scope of its collection activities in West Virginia. Car title loans are banned in West Virginia.

McGraw's office began investigating Fast Auto Loans after receiving complaints that West Virginia customers were being pressured into making payments on high-interest loans, and those that didn't had their vehicles seized. A company spokesperson didn't return a call seeking comment.
