Westpac New Zealand And NCR Ink Deal To Replace 400 Aging ATMs

Westpac New Zealand has awarded a nine-year contract to ATM vendor NCR Corp. to replace most of the bank’s existing ATMs, according to a statement from the Auckland-based bank. Terms were not disclosed.

Under the deal, the company will replace more than 400 machines, representing 80% of the bank’s ATM network. NCR will replace the aging ATMs with its SelfServ machines, according to the statement. The deal includes on-site maintenance, remote support and help-desk services in addition to software and hardware, the statement notes.
