WEX Launches B2B Fuel Card for GE Clients

Corporate payment solutions provider WEX is introducing a fuel card that is co-branded with GE Capital.

The Fleet One Over-the-Road fuel card offers clients line-item reporting of data and transaction information, serving as a routing and fuel purchase decision-making tool for companies and their drivers. It also ties into most third-party dispatch and billing systems.

The card is available only to qualified customers of GE's Transportation Finance arm. It is accepted at more than 7,800 truck stops nationwide in the Fleet One merchant network.

WEXs roots in B2B fleet card payments extend back to 1983. The company has been pushing data and information reporting through its virtual card products more recently. Last year it launched a mobile app that provides location-based searches for cost-effective stations, and last month it rolled out a fleet fuel card for small businesses.
