Wincor Nixdorf AG has signed a deal to provide 1,320 point-of-sale systems to service stations in Portugal and Spain, the Germany-based ATM vendor said Thursday. Wincor Nixdorf signed the deal with the Portugal-based Galp Energia Group. The group operates some 1,000 service stations in Portugal and Spain. Wincor Nixdorf also will sell to Galp software and back-office systems as part of the deal. Installation of the systems will start in the middle of the year and be complete by early 2010, Wincor Nixdorf says in a statement.
