Casual Fridays don't exist for bank chief executives. But as comfortable as they all are in a suit, some know how to wear one better than others. For every superbly dressed Michael Corbat or Jamie Dimon out there, there's a sartorially challenged CEO wearing an ill-fitting suit or black shoes with a brown belt. With the help of stylists from the personal shopping site Savile Row Society, we present some of the best-dressed CEOs from the country's largest banking companies.

Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan Chase

Dimon has a style that conveys confidence without being showy, says Savile Row CEO Lisa Dolan. He pulls it off by wearing understated suits and accenting them with silky, colorful ties and bold cuff links.

Brian Moynihan, Bank of America

"His suits are always well-tailored, and that is the key to any menswear look," says stylist Dawn Del Russo. Moynihan also favors bold ties, often pairing a red one with a blue shirt — BofA's signature colors — for public appearances.

Robert Wilmers, M&T Bank

M&T's longtime leader favors patterned suits — pinstripes or windowpanes — and ties that range from pastels to iridescent purples and yellows.

Washington says Wilmers' wardrobe choices show he's "very savvy" about men's fashion. Adds Del Russo: "He's not afraid to wear a pink tie, and I love that."

Russell Goldsmith, City National Bank

Goldsmith dresses very much like the Hollywood executive he once was. His suits are perfectly tailored and his taste in ties is "exquisite," says stylist Nicole Washington.

Michael Corbat, Citigroup

Tall with an athletic build, Corbat looks impressive in his well-tailored suits, which he accents with solid-color ties and, always, a sharp, high-end wristwatch. Washington suggests he could be a little bolder with his shirts — "white is too safe" — but, other than that, she says, "he's got it."

Frederick Waddell, Northern Trust

Waddell always looks effortlessly put together, and he pulls off a pinstriped suit with "pure sophistication," Washington says. He eschews flashiness for a crisper, cleaner style that creates "an air of approachability," adds stylist Francesca Federico. To refine his look, Waddell should try a contrast-collared shirt with French cuffs and cuff links, Federico says.

Kenneth Chenault, American Express

Chenault exudes poise and confidence, especially when he's wearing a tuxedo, says Washington. He cuts a striking figure in suits too, though she recommends adding bolder ties and pocket squares for more flair.

Bruce Van Saun, Citizens Financial Group

Van Saun balances print and color contrasts well and makes a statement with his eye-catching, contrast-collared shirts, says stylist Valerie Halfon.

Given his height, she suggests Van Saun avoid pinstriped suits. "They tend to elongate, so they work better on shorter men," she says.

Dominic Ng. East West Bancorp

Dominic Ng. East West Bancorp"Elegant" is a word the stylists use to describe Ng. "I love his choice of ties, and his tie knot is always perfect," says Washington.

Stephen Cummings, MUFG Union Bank

With his go-to navy suit and crisp white shirt, Cummings shows "a more understated, classic approach to fashion," Dolan says.

Such a "signature look" has benefits, including making him more immediately recognizable. But instead of sticking with his usual blue or mauve ties, he should mix in a range of colors and textures, she says.

Washington agrees, saying "I would love to see him step out of his comfort zone."
