Frale to Head Newly Acquired Chicago Bank

John J. Frale has been named president of Bank of Commerce and Industry, Chicago, which was recently purchased from the estate of Harold J. Green by a group of investors led by Denis J. Daly Sr., the president of HP Holding co.

HP Holding is the parent company of Heritage Pullman Bank and Trust Co., Chicago.

Mr. Frale has more than 30 years of banking experience. He has been with the Chicago-based Affiliated Banc Group Inc. for the past 10 years as executive vice president and interim president of Affiliated Bank/Franklin Park.

Bank of Commerce and Industry will serve its community with any type of loan, Mr. Frale said, and will develop a trust department in conjunction with its affiliated banks.

It will also install automatic teller machines compatible with other systems nationwide, he said.
