Princeton Bank Elects Curtin Its President

Thomas J. Curtin has been elected president of Princeton Bank and Trust Co., the East Brunswick, N.J.-based private banking affiliate of Chemical Bank, New York. He continues as chief operating officer of the bank.

He succeeds William D. Baird Jr., who has been named chairman of the board in addition to his responsibilities as chief executive officer.

Mr. Curtin has been with the company since 1972.

"I have seen the company evolve from a trust department at American National Bank, to a stand-alone trust company in 1981, to its present status as New Jersey's only private banking institution." Mr. Curtin said.

Mr. Curtin began his career with the company as manager of the Morristown trust office of American National Bank in 1972.
