C. Thomas Cook has been elected president of First Security Information Technology Inc., and named chief information officer of the parent First Security Corp., Salt Lake City.
T. Eugene King continues as chairman of the subsidiary and president and chief executive officer of First Security Service Co.
First Security Information Technology was formed in March as a subsidiary of First Security Corp.
All corporate information technology has been consolidated into the new subsidiary.
Mr. Cook, whose career spans more than 30 years in information technology, comes to First Security from Security Pacific Automation Co., where he had been director of information systems since 1988.
