President named for Banc One Credit Card Services.

Mark K. Tonnesen has been named president of Banc One Credit Card Services Co., which oversees the card programs of all Banc One Corp. affiliates.

Mr. Tonnesen fills a post vacated in October by Richard D. Headley, who became chairman and chief executive officer of Banc One Services Corp., the company's automation arm.

The credit card responsibilities were handled since then by Jeffrey P. Neubert. He is CEO of Banc One Diversified Credit Corp., the holding company for several consumer credit units including Mr. Tonnesen's.

Mr. Tonnesen, 42, was previously senior vice president and general manager of the bank card division of Banc One's lead bank in Columbus, Ohio. He will play a coordinating role, providing strategic planning and management support to his former peers in the Banc One's 12-state network.

He joined the Columbus bank in 1987 and served as chief financial officer before taking the credit card job in February 1990.

Bank One Columbus did not name his successor.
