Continental names O'Neill finance chief.

CHICAGO - Continental Bank Corp. said Michael E. O'Neill will succeed Hollis W. Rademacher as chief financial officer.

Mr. Rademacher is retiring in October after 36 years at the bank.

Mr. O'Neill joined Continental in 1974, spent some time with First Interstate Capital Markets in the 1980s, and has been a managing director since 1989. Most recently, he supervised risk management and proprietary trading businesses and engineered the outsourcing of Continental's audit, information technology, and legal functions.
