CHICAGO - Neil P. Arkuss, a lawyer with Palmer & Dodge in Boston, was elected president of the National Association of Bond Lawyers at a meeting here last night.
Arkuss will serve a one-year term as president of the association. a nonprofit organization that represents about 3,000 lawyers and other practitioners of public finance.
He replaces M. Jane Dickey, a lawyer with the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, who will remain a member of the board.
Andrew R. Kintzinger, a lawyer with Briggs and Morgan in Minneapolis, was chosen as the president-elect. He will succeed Arkuss as president in the fall of 1994.
The group elected Susan Weeks, a lawyer with Foley & Judell in New Orleans, as treasurer to replace Kintzinger.
William H. McBride, a lawyer with Hunton & Williams in Raleigh, was elected secretary. McBride replaces Fred H. Rosenfeld of Gust Rosenfeld in Phoenix, whose term on the board has expired.
Three new board members also were elected: Perry E. Israel, a lawyer with Orrick. Herrington & Sutcliffe in San Francisco; Julianna Ebert, a lawyer with Quarles & Brady in Milwaukee; and David Baker Lewis, a lawyer with Lewis, White & Clay in Detroit. Lewis is chairman of the firm.
Stepping down from the board, besides Rosenfeld, are Fredric A. Weber, a lawyer with Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston, who was president of the association for the 1991-92 term, and Bruce A. Polizotto, a lawyer with Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan in Indianapolis.
