BALTIMORE -- MNC Financial Inc. said the last of its regulatory agreements were terminated by the Comptroller of the Currency.
In a press release, the company said the Comptroller's office determined the agreements with MNC's Maryland National Bank and American Security Bank "were no longer needed."
The company did not detail the agreements.
Liberty Bank in Salt Lake City had been "structurally unprofitable" since 2008, according to its regulators. Experts criticized the FDIC for allowing the bank's demise to play out in slow motion.
