YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- FFY Financial Corp., the $579 million-asset holding company of First Federal Savings Bank of Youngstown, announced net earnings of $1.8 million or 32 cents per share for its first fiscal quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with $1.7 million or 26 cents per share from operations and $540,000 or 8 cents per share from changes in accounting standards for the same period a year ago.
