KeyCorp names Rocky Mountain Group executive.

Edmund J. Keane Jr. has been named executive vice president and group executive for Keycorp's Rocky Mountain banking group.

He will report to Gary Allen, Keycorp chief banking officer, and be located in Denver.

Mr. Keane has been chairman and chief executive officer of Key Bank of Idaho, Boise.

Michael M. Mooney, president and chief operating officer of the Boise bank, will succeed Mr. Keane as chief executive officer.

As regional executive, Mr. Keane will be responsible for directing and managing regional activities of the Rocky Mountain banking group, including all financial services provided by Keycorp, which has its headquarters in Cleveland.

In addition, Mr. Keane will develop strategic plans to integrate and coordinate all activities of the banks in that group. The bank chief executive officers in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming units will report to Mr. Keane.

NEW ENGLAND

EMPIRE FINANCIAL Group Inc., Southport, Conn., has appointed Arif M. Boysan as senior vice president and managing director.

He will be responsible for new markets and new business relationships for Empire Financial and Empire Capital Corp., the parent.

He had been treasurer at Terex Corp., a Westport, Conn.-based maker of large earth-moving equipment and forklifts.
