Capital Guaranty Insurance Co. said it has hired Brian Sheeran as marketing manager in New York. He will focus on competitive underwriting, trading, and secondary market opportunities.
Sheeran, who has worked in the municipal bond business for nearly 25 years, began his career in 1970 as a broker for J.J. Kenny & Co. He has also worked as an institutional salesman for J.P. Morgan, Salomon Brothers, Smith Barney, and most recently Lehman Brothers.
He is a member of the Municipal Bond Club of New York.
