Executive Telecard Ltd. announced that its affiliate, World Direct Ltd., has signed a service agreement with Telia of Sweden to provide global prepaid calling cards to its customers. The cards can be used to place calls from 56 countries and territories to virtually anywhere in the world.
Telia already uses an Executive Telecard platform to provide Calling Card services to its own customers.
Telecard currently offers card services in conjunction with more than 25 major telecommunications carriers on every continent and numerous credit card issuers in every region of the world. In addition to this latest agreement, Telecard has recently announced a revenue sharing agreement with Telkom South Africa, enhancement agreements with MasterCard International and Entel Chile, and a major prepaid agreement with Telecom New Zealand International.
