Wright Express to run Circle K's fleet card.

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine -- Circle K, the nation's second-largest convenience store chain, and the largest independent marketer of gasoline, will outsource its proprietary fleet card program to Wright Express Corp.

Circle K, based in Phoenix, has 2,500 convenience stores, including some 2,100 gasoline locations.

Michael Dubyak, senior vice president and general manager of merchant marketing for Wright Express, said that Circle K's card-based fuel sales to fleets will rise.

Wright Express, based in Maine, offers proprietary card programs with many of the nation's oil companies and convenience store chains. Wright also offers the Universal Fleet Card.
