PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- The Professional Golfers Association Tour and SafeCard Services Inc. have signed an agreement in principle.
Under the terms of the agreement, SafeCard will assume the management of PGA Tour Partners, providing marketing and operations support services to ensure the growth and success of the program.
PGA Tour Partners was started in 1991. During its first three years, it distributed $6 million through PGA Tour Charities.
Under SafeCard's management, the program is expected to be expanded to include, among other benefits, a cobranded PGA Tour Partners credit card.
