The purpose is not solely to deliver payroll services, but to deliver cross-border cash management services including electronic debits/credits, consolidated information reports, and integrated account balances.

An April 14 article on the business climate for card issucrs misspelled the name of law firm that assisted DRI/McGraw Hill on a state-by-state study. The Columbus, Ohio, firm is Zeiger, Dreher & Carpenter.
