Chicago Stock Exchange Had Third-Busiest Year

CHICAGO - The Chicago Stock Exchange said that 1994 was its third most active year, with nearly 3.3 billion shares changing hands and 5.4 million trades executed.

The exchange said that volume in Nasdaq issues listed for trading on the Chicago exchange during 1994 was up 26% for shares and 6% for trades, compared with 1993.
