First Commercial Trust Co. has announced that it will reimburse customers for losses incurred by the use of derivatives in three of its proprietary funds.

The Little Rock, Ark.-based bank plans to substitute the performance of three of its Manager Funds to replace the three funds which sustained heavy losses last year, due to the impact of rising interest rates on derivatives these funds invested in.

The total amount First Commercial is crediting customers will be about $7.5 million.
