Card Briefs: Ministore Chain to Get 160 Huntington ATMs

Huntington National Bank plans to install more than 160 automated teller machines in SuperAmerica convenience stores in Ohio.

The Huntington Bancshares unit was one of several regional banks to bid for the SuperAmerica contracts. The banking company said it is seeking new ways to reach customers.

Lexington, Ky.-based SuperAmerica operates more than 630 combination gasoline-merchandise stores in a 10-state area from the upper Midwest to the Ohio River Valley. It is a division of Ashland Inc.

The ATMs will dispense cash and postage stamps, print extended statements, transfer funds, and handle balance inquiries. Upon completion of the SuperAmerica ATMs, Huntington will have more than 450 ATMs in Ohio.
