In Brief: ABA Selling Books on Writing Bank Policies

The American Bankers Association unveiled its "BankTools" series by releasing two books designed to help banks write policies covering investment policies and insider activities.

The books are designed to help banks create their own policies with "plain-English" summaries of requirements, checklists, fill-in-the-blanks forms, and samples. The books are aimed, according to an ABA release, at banks with less than $500 million in assets.
