Short Takes: BT Private Bankers Get Additional Duties

Bankers Trust expanded the responsibilities of two senior private bankers, the New York-based banking company announced last week.

Managing director Paul W. Higgins, who has headed the private bank's Connecticut trust operation, was promoted to run its trust and U.S. investment management division. Until a successor is named in Connecticut, Mr. Higgins will perform both jobs.

Peter K. Scaturro, also a BT managing director, still oversees global marketing for the private bank, but he has been assigned the additional duty of meeting directly with clients around the United States.
