Timothy Clark Hired to Run Ameriana Bank In Hoosier State

Ameriana Bancorp, New Castle, Ind., has hired Timothy G. Clark to fill the newly created posts of executive vice president and chief operating officer at its Indiana subsidiary, Ameriana Bank.

Mr. Clark was a regional executive in Seymour, Ind., with National City Bank Indiana, responsible for three counties in the southeast of the state.

He had been president and CEO of Seymour National Bank until 1992, when Cleveland-based National City Corp. bought its owner, Merchants National Corp.

Earlier he was president and CEO of another Merchants subsidiary, Central National Bank in Greencastle, Ind.

Ameriana Bancorp, with $402 million of assets, also owns Deer Park Federal Savings and Loan Association, Cincinnati.
