In Brief: Freddie Gains on Upgrade by Credit Suisse

Shares of Freddie Mac gained 25 cents, to $37.0625, after Credit Suisse First Boston put a "buy" rating on the secondary mortgage agency's stock.

Analyst David S. Dusenbury raised his rating on the stock from "hold," citing valuation, a possible decline in credit costs, and a better operating environment.
