Card Briefs: Ga. Software Firm in Joint Marketing Pact

Paysys International Inc. of Atlanta said it will link its widely used VisionPlus credit card management software with Incurrent Corp.'s CardSite system for offering Internet-based customer access and support.

Card issuers use CardSite for taking customer applications, delivering account information, and other customer service.

The worldwide marketing agreement lets the companies market "a complete Web-based solution" that banks can offer "with less risk, in less time, and at a lower cost than other alternatives," said Paysys senior vice president Dan Cone.

"Paysys is the market leader in payment card processing software, and Incurrent is breaking new ground in on-line customer care and account acquisition for card issuers," said Mark Betz, chief executive officer of Incurrent, which was founded last year in Parsippany, N.J.

"There are strong synergies between the two organizations, and we look forward to working with the team at Paysys to develop the global market for this technology."
