First Union Puts Reginald Davis In Charge of Georgia Banking

First Union Georgia, Atlanta, has promoted Reginald E. Davis, president of its western region, to general banking executive, responsible for all banking activities of the First Union Corp. subsidiary.

He succeeded Thomas H. Pacer, who had been promoted in October to president of First Union Georgia.

Mr. Davis joined First Union's Georgia commercial real estate lending team in 1985, and 10 years later he named senior vice president of commercial real estate lending. His 1996 promotion to president of the western region made him responsible for 30 of First Union Georgia's offices outside Atlanta.
