Correction: 01/20/99 issue

A graphic that appeared Jan. 20 with the article "Who's No. 1 Syndicated Lender? It Depends" (page 17) switched the labels on two measures of bank lending. BankAmerica led 682 deals and Chase Manhattan, 530. BankAmerica was an agent on $443 billion worth of loans and Chase on $441 billion worth.
