U.S. Bancorp Names President for Asset Management Unit

U.S. Bancorp of Minneapolis has named Paul Dow to the newly created position of president and chief investment officer of its First American Asset Management.

Mr. Dow, 48, had been senior managing director of First American's fixed-income group. His new duties, overseeing all investment products and institutional client relationships in fixed-income and equities, were previously divided among three executives, said First American Asset Management spokeswoman Joyce Peppin.

The unit manages more than $83 billion and has more than 100 employees.
