Southwest Bancorp Names Executive

SOUTHWEST

Southwest Bancorp of Stillwater, Okla., said chief operating officer Rick. J. Green became CEO of the $978 million-asset company and its Stillwater National Bank and Trust Co. on Jan. 1.

Mr. Green was an executive vice president. Before becoming chief operating officer he was president of Stillwater Bank's central Oklahoma division.

He has worked for the bank since 1967, except for a stint in 1970-71 as assistant bursar at Oklahoma State University.

As chief executive he succeeded Robert L. McCormick Jr., who will remain chairman until retiring at yearend. Mr. McCormick became president, CEO, and a director of the bank in 1970.

Mr. Green was also elected to the Stillwater and Southwest Bancorp boards. So was Stanley R. White, who is the chief lending officer and an executive vice president of both.
