Executive Changes: Bank of the West

Bank of the West, Honolulu, promoted assistant vice presidents Roderick Wada and David G. Russell to vice president and hired Daniel W. Zinn at that rank.

All three are based in California.

Mr. Wada manages the Stevens Creek branch in San Jose; earlier he ran the Scott Boulevard and Mountain View branches in the area. He has been with the BancWest Corp. subsidiary for eight years. Mr. Russell was promoted from marketing representative to a regional sales manager in the consumer lending, sales, and marketing division.

Mr. Zinn was hired from Wells Fargo Bank as a cash management officer. He was manager of finance and operations in Wells' student lending group. Before that he was a finance manager in Wells' consumer credit group, and still earlier a senior financial consultant.

Before joining Wells, Mr. Zinn was a manager of finance and administration with the Navy's nuclear propulsion program.
