Short Takes: Chase Private Bank Picks 2 for Hong Kong

Chase Manhattan Corp. appointed a pair of private bankers in Hong Kong to succeed two who left for Republic New York Corp.'s office there.

Suzy Ho joined Chase as a managing director responsible for private banking client management in Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines. She was previously employed by J.P. Morgan & Co.

Chase also promoted Vivian Chan to managing director, responsible for Hong Kong private banking client management. Most recently, Ms. Chan worked in corporate banking. They report to Frederick S. Ma, Asia area executive of Chase's private bank.
