Zurich Kemper Life in Long Grove, Ill., a unit of Zurich Financial Services Group, has hired Jerry Adzima as executive sales director of the group retirement plans strategic business unit.
He will lead a sales force marketing tax-sheltered annuities to teachers from kindergarten through high school.
He will report to the unit's president, George Vlaisavljevich.
Mr. Adzima was a division vice president at Northern Life Insurance Co. He has 19 years of insurance and annuity experience.
Meanwhile, Russ Bostick, Zurich Kemper Life's chief information officer, was promoted to senior vice president from vice president.
He is now a member of the senior management team, which reports to John Scott, president and CEO of Zurich Kemper Life.
LoBue Associates Inc., a financial services consulting firm in Northbrook, Ill., has promoted associate Navneet Khanna to senior associate.
Mr. Khanna has been doing consulting, data gathering and analysis, and client coaching. He will now be among those responsible for guiding and directing client project teams and for managing client relationships.
Before joining LoBue in 1997 he was a credit officer in Toronto for Laurentian Bank of Canada. Earlier he was a credit representative in Toronto for Sun Life Trust, a unit of Sun Financial Group. Still earlier he was a Citibank trainee in Jakarta, Indonesia, and then in Toronto.
