ABA Offers Help on Dodd-Frank

The American Bankers Association said Wednesday that it will hold three telephone briefings for bank executives to help them plan for coming regulatory changes called for by the Dodd-Frank Act.

The first briefing, focusing on the law's impact on revenue generation, will be held Feb. 17. A second briefing on capital and liquidity management is planned for March 1, and a third on corporate development is planned for March 22.

"Today, bankers are faced with the most complicated maze of new regulations in history," Mark Tenhundfeld, senior vice president of ABA's office of regulatory policy, said in a press release.

"These briefings will help senior executives understand which parts of their business will be most impacted by Dodd-Frank and will provide the tools they'll need to prepare for necessary changes."
