ICBA, ABA Name Conference Speakers

The Independent Community Bankers of America and the American Bankers Association announced Tuesday their upcoming regulatory conferences.

The ICBA conference will be next week and feature speakers including House Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer T. Bachus, Treasury Deputy Secretary Neal Wolin, Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, R-Mo.; Thomas Hoenig, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City; and Sen. Mary L. Landrieu, D-La.

The ABA Regulatory Compliance Conference will be June 12 to 15 in Washington. Speakers include the new ABA President and CEO Frank Keating and John Dugan, former comptroller of the currency and now a partner at Covington & Burling LLP. The conference will focus on the impact of the Dodd-Frank law, mortgage lending, disclosures, overdraft practices, consumer complaints and mobile payments.
