Oracle (ORCL) has launched the latest version of its FLEXCUBE banking platform.
FLEXCUBE 12.0 has an open development environment that allows more flexible deployment options and upgrade paths, Oracle said Thursday. Additionally, new versions of the company's universal, private and direct banking are being released simultaneously in a pre-integrated format.
The new release includes expanded functionality for sales and self-service across multiple channels, including online, mobile, ATM and branch banking.
For example, this includes new online capabilities that provide spend analysis, alerts and reminders across portfolios and interactions. It has new versions of applications for the iPhone, iPad and Java ME devices. Banks can also use the new FLEXCUBE to provide customers with real-time offers and coupons based on location.
