AltaOne FCU Chooses Andera's Account Opening System

Andera said Monday that AltaOne Financial Credit Union in Ridgecrest, Calif., has selected the company's oFlows platform for account opening.

The system will enable customers of the $559 million-asset credit union to open an account via an iPad or mobile device that customers can use to fill out an application, sign and upload supporting documents, and send them to the credit union, according to Andera.

"Our goals are to respond to our members through better online access, to streamline the branch process, and to be proactive in meeting our members' expected needs," Wendy Cleveland, vice president of AltaOne, said in a news release. "With Andera's oFlows, we have the right tool to attain those goals."

"Their customers are seeking convenient, self-directed channels of access — including tablets and mobile devices — to their products and services," Charlie Kroll, Andera's chief executive, added in a news release. "oFlows makes service delivery convenient for their members and reduces time spent in branches."

According to Andera, customer service representatives at the credit union can come out from behind a desk to open accounts for members using an iPad. The software is said to tell the representative about other products that can address the members' needs.
The cloud-based system integrates with most banking technology systems in the market, according to the company.
